Mary and Leonard say our Ancestors passed Adizookaanan, our stories, on for thousands of years, filling the long winter nights with our oral history, philosophy, and ceremonies. Madoodiswaan, Sweat Lodge, is the story of the four sisters who spoke to the beavers and in accordance with Creator’s Law constructed a Sweat Lodge that would help to heal the Anishinaabeg.
